OUR DEMANDS

  • KCL must condemnIsrael’s genocide and scholasticide in Gaza and war crimes in the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen.

Within a week of both Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022 and Hamas’ attack in 2023, KCL issued a condemnation.

KCL’s silence on Israeli crimes into 2025 is completely unacceptable.

  • KCL must boycott all Israeli academic institutions involved in maintaining occupation, apartheid, ethnic cleansing, and genocide in Palestine.

This includes ongoing and future projects with Technion, Tel Aviv University, Ben Gurion University & Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

  • KCL must divest from all corporations and arms manufacturers complicit in Israeli apartheid, genocide and scholasticide.

This includes £19.4 million invested in apartheid and occupation and £11.9 million invested in weapons proliferation.

  • KCL must rebuild Gaza’s education sector by following through with framework they have provided for immediate, medium and long-term support for Gaza’s Higher Education.

King’s must establish long-term academic ties with Palestinian universities and launch a fellowship in the name of our martyr, Dr Adnan al-Bursh.

  • KCL must safeguard the freedom of speech for students, staff and allies to protest and express solidarity without fear of persecution or disciplinary action.

King’s must revoke the IHRA definition of antisemitism, which conflates anti-zionsim with antisemitism and replace it with the Jerusalem Declaration on Antisemitism.

KCL Stands for Justice held the Gaza Solidarity Encampment at the Strand Quad for 68 days in 2024.

We have continued our actions since and the university have conceded to several of our demands.

However as the genocide continues into 2025, we will not rest until all of our five demands are fully met.

HOW CAN I HELP?

If you know our demands and want to support us, that’s all you need.

GET INVOLVED! Join the student movement as we collectively continue our ongoing effort to get the university to respond to our 5 demands.
